AYOMIDE A. OYETUNJI BIOGRAPHY
Ayomide A. Oyetunji has come a long way since being discovered by coach Felix at national youth games Ilorin and has won several medals in secondary school,university and state level.

He made his debut outing for CFASF at AFN all-comers Abuja in November 2017 where he ran a then Personal Best (PB) of 11.33s.He lowered his PB to 11.04 at AFN Golden League in Kaduna 2017.

He then emerge the 100m champion and a gold medalist in 4×100m of YSFON 2018 Ramat Int's cup championship in kano.

But the teenager was unable to compete fully due to school engagements in 2018 season,A student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).Then he came back for inter faculty games at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in September he was crowned the 100m and 200m champion in preparation for 2018 west African university games(WAUG). Unfortunately, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) did not send a athletics team to the competition.

At the 2018 Kaduna state sport festival he was crowned the 100m fastest male athlete in Kaduna.
He maintained an unbeaten run in all of his races and totally dominated the 100m and 200m in 2018 at ABU and Kaduna.

In 2018 national sport festival Abuja where he smashed his PB to 10.76s while competing in 100m, before setting a new pb of 10.72s in the semis.

He open his 2019 season at u-18 and u-20 national trials held at Ilaro,Ogun state between 14th-17th March, 2019 with a season's best of 10.90 in the 100m to finished sixth position where he made Team NIGERIA U-20 CAA Championship.

At 2019 World University Games (FISU) trials where he represented Ahmadu Bello University and ran a new Season Best of 21.59s to win the men's 200m final.

Oyetunji made an impressive debut at the National Championships by clocking a new PB the men’s 100m.He erased his former PB of 10.73 set at 2018 National Sport Festival to 10.68s to win heat 4 of the Men's 100m at the 2019 All Nigerian Championship. In the semis, He was drawn in the same semifinal with the likes of Itshekiri Ushoritse, Ogunlewe Adeseye, Arowolo Emmanuel but Usheoritse Itsekiri won the race with a time 10.16s as Oyetunji placed 7th with 10.87s.Oyetunji was the man to beat in the heat 5 of the 200m blasted the track to win in 22.26s ahead of Ajibodu Emmanuel. Considering he won the men's 200m World University Games (FISU) Trials clocking a time of 21.59s,he was expecting more from the 200m at All Nigerian Championship.

At the CFASF third stake holders Congress 2019 he was awarded high performance athlete.This award is presented to a CFASF athlete who has demonstrated extraordinary individual performancet as measured from the beginning to the end of the season.

The 2020 Athletics season started as a defining one for Ayomide A. Oyetunji! Early in the season in February where he opened his season at AFN first classic in Ekiti, It was an arduous over 13-hour trip to Ekiti but Oyetunji was able to overcome the fatigue to put up a formidable performance in the heat, winning heat 6 with 10.69 which was 0.01 off his Personal Best. The CFASF's athlete went on to compete in the semis two hours later where he missed making the final by running 10.79. Still that evening he ran 200m heat  finishing with 21.58, the following day in the morning taking the semifinal with 21.97 and in what was a fascinating 200m final, Oyetunji put up a spirited performance against Emmanuel Ojeli and John Clifford, dipping in to finish 3rd with 21.62. 

It was not up to 24-hour from checking in home from Ekiti, Oyetunji shifted his focus to the Kaduna state sports festival, He was the man to beat in the sprint double to win both the 100m and 200m! and becoming two-time defending Champion in both event. 

In the same month, he was shortlisted for 100m test the track for National Sports festival,Edo2020 this was as a result to his performance in Ekiti classic but due to the short time notice of invitation Team CFASF pulled him out of the competition.

Later that month, the sad news came of the postponement of National sports festival due to the global pandemic of Covid19 which has lead to lay waste all his plans for the season and making safety first as the priority.

After a paucity of competitions in 2020 season as a result of the global Coronavirus pandemic and finally more Nigerian athletes was able to competed in Asaba, Delta state, had a chance to participated at the Okowa COVID-19 Athletics meet. Ayomide Oyetunji of Coach Felix Academics and Sports Foundation (CFASF) was in Asaba as sole invited athlete from Kaduna and north been listed in the entry lists of 100m. 

Currently Ayomide A. Oyetunji is the fastest sprinter in Kaduna and North West Nigeria.
